Ingredients:

(1R, 2S, 5R) -2-isopropyl-5-methylcyclohexanol, sodium bicarbonate, 7 (dimethylamino) phenothiazine-3 ilidine-dimethylazonium; chloride, 1,2-propanediol, deionized water.

Pharmacological properties:

Memethol spray (1R, 2S, 5R) -2-isopropyl-5-methylcyclohexanol accelerates local blood circulation and shrinks the thrombus, resulting in pain relief inside the lump and pressure on the nerve endings. The cold-burning sensation eliminates itching. Memethol spray contains 1,2-propanediol, which remains in the epidermis by forming a mechanical barrier on the top layer of the skin and protects the damaged anal area from germs. Reduces hemorrhoid lump during treatment. The pH of the product corresponds to the environment of the anal area, so it does not cause any skin irritation during use.

In the treatment of a hemorrhoid and anal fissure diseases.

How to use:

It is recommended to use 1-2 hours before bedtime.

• Before using the spray, the affected area should be washed and dried.

• Memethol spray should be shaken before use.

• Appropriate posture should be used to inject the drug completely into the affected area.

• Memethol spray should be sprayed 8 times on the anal area with the tip raised. Contact with the genital area should be prevented.

• Wait 1-2 minutes after spraying to prevent leakage.

Note: Memethol spray should be discontinued immediately if any other remedies are used 24 hours before use. No other product should be applied to the anal area during treatment. The feeling of cold after using Memethol spray is characterized as a burning sensation and is considered completely normal. The burning sensation can last from 30 minutes to 4-5 hours, individually. Despite the reduction in complaints, the vial should be used continuously until the end of the treatment to complete the treatment and make the result lasting.

Dosage:

8 sprays once a day should be applied externally to the area with hemorrhoid and anal fissure diseases.

1 vial of Memethol spray is enough for the treatment of 1st and 2nd degree  patients with hemorrhoid . Patients with grade 3 and 4 hemorrhoid and anal fissure should use 2 vials of Memethol spray (there should be no interval between the use of 2 vials). After using the spray, it is necessary to wait 20-30 days to observe recovery. After the time required for recovery, 1 more vial can be used if necessary.

Note: Memethol spray can only be used to treat hemorrhoid and anal fissure . It is not recommended for rectal prolapse, varicose veins and other diseases. Pain relief may not be observed in patients with anorectal abscess.

Contraindications:

• Pregnancy and lactation.

• Children under 15 years of age.

• Hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
